Robert & Michelle’s darling downtown Madison engagement session is a wintery dream for an adventurous couple. With a small flurry, brisk air, love, laughter, and all the romance.

Robert meets Michelle through a mutual friend at a farmers market, shortly after moving to Madison for work. I’m thinking love at first sight, because these two are simply meant to be!

What do the two think of each other? Michelle loves his kind & caring nature, his optimism, and his love for cooking & food. She admires his eagerness to embark on (sometimes impromptu) adventures with her!

Robert loves that she’s caring too, her beautiful heart, and that she loves to find beauty in day to day things with photography, and share her photos with others.

So how does Robert pop the question to the woman of his dreams? One ordinary day, in their home, Robert surprises Michelle with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. And then, on one knee, brings up the ring and asks her to marry him. Of course, she says yes!

Their favorite memory together is hiking their first 14ner (Quandary Peak in Colorado, a mountain over 14,000 feet tall!) It is the toughest thing they’ll ever accomplish so far, but their persistence pays off! What an amazing and adventurous couple!

The two spending their time together, love cooking together, photography (Robert’s an amazing photographer! Check out his Instagram here!), and traveling the world.

Now, the two plan their upcoming wedding at The Edgewater Hotel in Madison. We can’t wait to see all the gorgeous moments that will unfold! It’s going to be another perfect day in Madison!
