A charming outdoor wedding at The Bowery Barn in Rubicon, for Riecher or for poorer!
A sweet little backstory: years ago, Pat and Bonnie go to the same high school, but never really talk to each other. One day, Pat was hurt in an ATV accident. Bonnie reaches out to him and checks in on him, visits him, cares for him, and spends time with him. The love she shows him, from a place of such kindness, made Pat look at her with fresh eyes. He sees something beautiful and knows that there would be more to their story than just friendship.
Fast forward a few years & many beautiful memories later, and we arrive at the wedding day of this sweet, meant-to-be couple.
The story of their perfect summer wedding begins in the Farmhouse, where Bonnie and her bridesmaids are getting ready. Bonnie shines so beautifully in her elegant gown as her Maid of Honor laces the corset. A wide braid tucked into her updo, her makeup highlighting all of her beauty. She’s looking like an angel, and the first look with her father is next on the list!
It was heartfelt and so sweet how her father reacts to seeing his princess! Father-daughter first looks are always such a special moment of the day.
And now, it’s time for Bonnie & Pat to tie the knot!
At their tulle-draped altar, the Riechers pour sand for their unity ceremony. Her dad look on lovingly as his sweet Bonnie marries the man of her dreams.
This wedding party is SO fun and we share so many laughs as we took their photos. We definitely miss this group of people!
After swoonworthy photos of the new Riechers, it’s time to celebrate!
It all leads into a fun, dance-filled reception in the Barn! A fun dab of cake on the nose (which, by the way, was the BEST WEDDING CAKE PERIODT!), heartfelt speeches from the best man and maid of honor, and all the love in the world, it was a perfect wedding for a perfect couple.
So, congratulations again, sweet friends! We are so happy for you to celebrate such a charming outdoor wedding at the Bowery Barn in Rubicon. We are so excited for your new life together to begin!
