Austin & Katie | Engagement Session in Rockford, IL

You’re in for a sweet little engagement session in Rockford!

One thing that fills my heart with JOY is when we have a couple from a previous wedding!   We met Austin & Katie at his sister’s wedding (their Creamery 201 wedding is so beautiful!)

So naturally, I’m OVER THE MOON to be their photographer, too!

We shot their sweet engagement session in Rockford, IL, at his parents home.

Austin & Katie meet when he & his family come to a bar where Katie’s working.  She is surprised, to say the least, when Austin’s mother says to her, “You should marry my son!”   (How’s THAT for a first impression!? LOL! I have to say, if you knew Austin’s mom, you would totally understand. That woman is sunshine + joy in the flesh and so loved by everyone!)

Katie didn’t immediately like him, but it didn’t take very long for these two to fall head over heels for each other!

He asks this blonde bombshell to be his wife while they pose for a photo in front of one of the Chuck Brauer trucks.  She is so taken by surprise and cries as she says, “Yes!”  It’s a sweet video you should definitely see!

So congratulations, sweet friends!  I absolutely love you both, and your sweet family, so so much.  I am so beyond excited for these sweetheart’s gorgeous wedding next year.  A perfect day at Barnacopia starts with their darling engagement session in Rockford!
