The Garcia’s at home Oconomowoc wedding is a slice of the Heaven that’s yet to come this September!
I have to start by saying how much I treasure these two! Their love for each other is a perfect picture of Christ’s love for the church. it’s such a blessing to see and celebrate!
The gorgeous elopement takes place at the Hotchkiss family home, on Stillwater Lake. Under a gorgeously flowered altar is where the soon-to-be-Garcia’s promise their love and lives to each other.
Emily’s engagement ring had been completely redone, and it’s a surprise for her during the ceremony! (Sidenote: when I opened the ring box to take photos of them, that diamond nearly blinded me!)
After sharing their handwritten vows, the two shed tears, seal it all with a kiss, and become husband and wife!
The newlyweds board a boat, pop a bottle of champagne, and take a celebratory ride on the lake.
When they arrive back, such loving toasts are given to them by their fathers. We love to see such happy loving families on such joyful and monumental days!
Before dinner, all their guests bow their heads as Matt prays for God’s blessing. “Lord, what do you say when you’re speechless?”, he begins. And I think I can speak for everyone when I say, what a perfect way to put it. God’s grace, perfect love, and mercy just leave us speechless.
So congratulations again to you, Matt & Emily! Your gorgeous at home Oconomowoc wedding is a perfect lead-in to the even-more beautiful celebration that awaits later this year! This wasn’t exactly as planned, but it’s still oh so heavenly.
We are so excited for you to enter into a beautiful and ever-loving marriage, and we’ll see you again very soon!
